General and Booking Conditions
Cancellation
- Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 1 week (7 nights) before the reserved date.
- If you cancel within 6 nights or less than the agreed date, 50% of the costs will be charged.
- Cancellation must be communicated by telephone or email.
Confirmation and payment
The tenant will receive a booking confirmation. Payment is made immediately when the booking is placed.
Night Registry
We register some personal data for the purpose of maintaining a night register for the municipality of Heerde. This data is handled with the utmost care. They will not be used for any other purposes than for registration in this municipal night register and its own administration.
Other agreements
- Unfortunately, due to the presence of many of our own animals on the farm, pets are not allowed in our house. No small dogs either.
- Peace and privacy are paramount. Just like the peace and quiet of the local residents. Please take this into account. After 10pm please rest at the cottage.
- The number of people may never exceed what is stated on the reservation confirmation. If this changes unexpectedly, please contact us in advance.
- Smoking is not permitted in the cottage.
Any damage during your stay
If any damage unexpectedly occurs during your stay, we would like to hear about it so that we can provide a replacement or carry out repairs in time for the next guests.
General Data Protection Regulation (AVG)
As of May 25, 2018, the General Data Protection Regulation applies. For all processing of personal data, only data that you have actively provided will be used. The data will not be distributed to third parties.
Your stay
Checkin and Checkout
Check-in is possible between 3:00 PM and 10:00 PM on the day of arrival
Check out no later than 11:00 am on the day of departure
Unless agreed otherwise.
I would like to know the planned arrival time at least the day in advance (preferably via text message/whatsapp), so that I can be there to show you the house. In the unlikely event that I am not there myself, I will ensure that the house is open and that everything is ready. In that case: feel welcome and make it easy for you! Then we will meet each other at a later time.
Cars can be parked next to the cottage, immediately to the right of the yard.
The entrance to the house is on the front/road side. The lockable storage space for any bicycles is located directly behind the white door in front of the parking lot. Electric bicycles can also be charged here and there is also a water hose to clean mountain bikes.
Departure
When leaving during your stay, please lock the doors of the house. (turn the handle all the way up and turn the key once). The key can be left in the door upon check out.
Breakfast
If this has been booked with your stay: I would like to know what time I can deliver breakfast in the morning. I would like to hear specifics, wishes and diets by telephone or via WhatsApp no later than one day before the start of the stay, so that I can take them into account in time.
Inventory & Facilities
The house is fully furnished and equipped with all conveniences and comfort. You can enjoy unlimited coffee / espresso, cappuccino / latte or tea. And there is a small fridge available for use, as well as a microwave and an induction hob for a soup or small meal. Depending on the weather, the patio furniture can be placed under the veranda or in front of the house. For example, enjoy breakfast in front of the house in the morning sun. Or simply enjoy the evening sun under the veranda.
Other details
We also try to contribute to a better world and a more environmentally friendly way of life. Plastic waste, glass and paper can be disposed of separately in the storage room. For the towels, multiple use is of course desirable. There is a laundry basket in the bathroom for changed towels.
Because it is a wooden house, please ventilate well during and/or after showering by opening the window (briefly). For the preservation of the woodwork. Please put the radiator in the bathroom in Standby with the red button, otherwise it will heat unnecessarily high. Of course, use the electric heater in the bedroom if desired, but please do not leave it on unnecessarily, as this consumes a lot of energy. If necessary, open the bedroom door slightly so that the heat from the pellet stove also warms the bedroom. Thank you for everyone’s contributions!
